Yard flowers is the best part about Spring!

Picture
Every spring I look forward to picking a bouquet of daffodils. No flower says the beginning of spring better than a daffodil in my opinion. Yellow is also one of my favorite colors as it's so cheerful!

Begonia plant in beautiful handmade triangular planter.

Picture
In this planter, I have a mix of two variations of spider plants and a begonia plant.  All these plant babies were gifted to me, and this was my first winter having them flower. They are planted in one of my triangular planters with a geometric pattern with a turquoise glaze.

Mug Adventures: Hidden Valley Preserve, Washington Depot, Connecticut

Picture
The Hidden Valley Preserve has quite a few trails you can pick from so create your own loop or out and back hike. My favorite part was the very first stretch going into the park by the river and how gorgeous all these little springs were as they were frozen with ice. Plus, I loved how otherworldly these are with the  moss were.
