Merry Christmas!Hi there, As a mother of littles, I am slowly becoming less Grinch like. That means I now happily play Christmas tunes the entire month of December, and pull out Christmas decorations Thanksgiving weekend. Where are you on the loving Christmas scale? Do you start Playing Christmas music come November 1 or do you protest having Christmas music play until the day of Christmas.  Regardless of where you fall on the how much you love Christmas scale, you are probably looking for some gifts to buy for yourself or loved ones. Fall eats and decor. We are enjoying all things fall over hear in Connecticut New England. Whether that be fresh made pie, apples picked from the orchards, and home made chider. Chider is a mix of apple orchard cider and my own chai tea mix click here to get recipe.
Fall hikes are of course my favorite, but I have also but loving walks around old Wethersfield, CT and how classy their front door home decor is. Since moving to the North East Fall is quickly becoming my favorite season of the year. I'm over here sipping hot tea and enjoying my homemade pumpkin bars ( recipe ). Last year I started the tradition of adding Christmas tree lights to my Christmas Cactus in lieu of a Christmas tree. I'm still unpacking from the move to Connecticut, but this Christmas Cactus will have it's Christmas lights soon.
What do you think. Does this make me scrooge or a creative person? Regardless I'm so excited my Christmas Cactus survived the move, and it's need for severe pruning and has produced some blooms after all. Need a unique Christmas gift?
