There are several short walking trails at this park. It's more about soaking in the amazing lake superior shores. Plus the rocks are are amazing, as they are tumbled so much on this shore that they are actually glossy!

Here's is my recently completed pottery display I have added to my basement ceramic studio. I love how the brick and black walnut looks with my earthy wood and soda fired pots. In addition, it's fun how this space echoes how pots might look stacked up on shelves inside a big kiln. I still have no idea what this space was used for as their are no openings for flues, but it has become a wonderful space to display pottery in the home.

This was a 4 mile out and back trail from the Schoodic Campground to the top of Buck Cove Mountain.

I was so thankful that the road was still open to the top of Cadillac Mountain as we went to Acadia National Park the last weekend in October, and a lot of areas were already closed off for the winter season. Once you drive up to the top of the Mountain their is a large parking area, and you can either walk along the designated path at the top or scamper around on the rocks only. They are trying to maintain a leave not tracy policy, and not allowing people to walk on the fragile vegetation.
