Happy first day of fall! How are you soaking in the first day of Fall?
Since moving to the North East Fall is quickly becoming my favorite season of the year. I'm over here sipping hot tea and enjoying my homemade pumpkin bars ( recipe ). I am also picked one of my last bouquet of early fall flowers from the yard earlier this morning. I would love for you to share some of your favorite fall activities over on my instagram page. Find vases and pottery like these and more over on my etsy shop. You may be one of the lucky buyers to get this beautiful vase. Afternoon snack made more beautiful by serving coffee or tea in a handmade mug or tea bowl, and served on a uniquely shaped live edge cutting board.
Mug Adventures: Hidden Valley Preserve, Washington Depot, ConnecticutThe Hidden Valley Preserve has quite a few trails you can pick from so create your own loop or out and back hike. My favorite part was the very first stretch going into the park by the river and how gorgeous all these little springs were as they were frozen with ice. Plus, I loved how otherworldly these are with the moss were. Click read more to see more pictures.

I just finished this series of cutting boards and/or serving boards. I love how adding this beautiful live edge black walnut board with hand whittled handle brings the feeling of a coffee shop to the home.
