​What Kind of art work do you Collect? 
"I have a collection of pottery that I have acquired over the last 18 or so years. I love adding to my collection and surrounding myself with the joy of the maker and collector."
 

Why do you buy handmade pottery?
"I choose to buy handmade pottery because it gives me great joy to surround myself with beauty.  Acquiring pottery also lets me get to know how different potters ‘feel’ the clay when run my fingers and hands over each piece.  I learn a lot from getting to know each piece in that intimate way."
 

How did you acquire a Lisa York piece of pottery?
"I bought Lisa York’s piece after I saw it online.  I was wondering if it came from a mutual friend’s kiln and I was glad to find out the pot did come from Amy Song’s train kiln.  I love the crystal formation on this intimate pitcher."
