Mug Adventures: Montreal Falls, Mohawk, MI

Rugged shores on Lake Superior in route to Montreal Falls.

Be pre-warned the trail head is pretty remote, and the roads get fairly rugged. We ended up parking before the trail head as the roads were muddy, and we did not want to get stuck without cell service. With that said my favorite part of the hike was actually the rugged lake superior shoreline we hike along on the way out to the waterfalls.

We took the shortest out and back route to Montreal falls which was a little over a mile and half, but it looks like the trail kept going with more areas to explore if you wanted a longer hike.
