Hike to Miner's Beach at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Michigan

On our trip to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore we were limited on time so we did a short hike from Miner's Castle Rock down to Miner's Beach.

I have to admit that it has been a long time dream of mine to make it over to Pictured Rocks, and while Lake Superior is amazing I was a little sad to learn that you cannot really see the famous Pictured Rocks unless you take a boat tour or you go kayaking (which can get tricky to have a day with calm enough water). I definitely need to return for some kind of boat ride. Plus there are a lot more more trails in the park that we did not get a chance to explore either.
