Orange Tea Bowl with Geometric Design on Pine Knob Mountain

Mug Adventures: Pine Knob Mountain Loop, Housatonic Meadows State Park, Connecticut

Pine Knob Mountain loop via Appalachian trail. It's a 2.7 mile loop with only 700ft elevation gain that provides some fabulous views of the Housatonic Meadows. 

My favorite part of the loop was the part of the trail with this lovely mountain stream. The sound of the water was so calming, and I loved the moss that was covering the rocks. Overall it was an awesome fall hike, minus having to walk cautiously down hill as some of the leaves where slippery and covering up the rocks.
