A statement about slow living:"Being raised with a chaotic and less to normal childhood, anxiety got the best of me throughout my life. As I aged it got worse, I always felt overwhelmed by noise, visual stimulus, or being with a lot of people. I started to realize that I needed to find tactics for myself to help my mental state. This is where slowing down came to be in my life. It’s a learning process but has made a huge change for my mental health and overall well being." -Vera York
